Online course developers, whether they are faculty "self-developers" or non-faculty instructional designers, have the task of developing Web content that is accessible to students with disabilities. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to accomplish the following:

  1. Understand the basic requirements of Section 508
  2. Identify the various disabilities students might have and how those disabilities affect students' online learning experience
  3. Find additional resources about Web accessibility
