Guidance

You should have assembled a set of reference materials to help you create Section 508 compliant Web content. You should also have resources to continue your own accessibility research. Your reference and resource set should include the following:

  • The 16 accessibility checkpoints for Web content and ways to address each of the checkpoints when you are creating Web content.
  • The 4 types of disabilities that create accessibility barriers. You should have an understanding of how the accessibility checkpoints relate to the disability types.
  • A list of the keywords that were most productive in your Internet search, along with a list of the most relevant Web resources.
